DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Pick up from the airport upon arrival at 0730 hrs by our driver/guide, have a safari briefing session and proceed to Amboseli National Park, Game viewing en-route arriving in good time for lunch followed by afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at a Tented Campsite
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Full day spent in Amboseli National Park exploring morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and Overnight stay at a Tented Campsite
Amboseli National Park is situated close to Kenya and Tanzania border at the foot of Africa highest mountain 5895m, Mt Kilimanjaro whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view during clear days. The Park offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because
its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months. It is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants. There are over 900 African elephants in Amboseli as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras,
hyenas and antelope.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park - Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart Amboseli National Park viewing game en-route as you exit the park with the last picturesque of Amboseli. We drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border. We pass through Arusha town for lunch and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drives. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Campsite
Lake Manyara National Park takes pride in diversified habitat. It is mirrored by its varied fauna, with some of the more common and visible large mammal species being the buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and wildebeests.
Prominently renowned for its tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara is also home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is rich with fantastic birdlife, more than 400 species of birds can be seen here.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast at around 0700am. After breakfast leave the camp and proceed to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch via Ngorongoro Crater Rim viewing game en-route. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Full day spent in Serengeti National Park exploring morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania largest and best-known national park, with a massive concentration of migratory animals who move around the park according to the availability of food.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania oldest and most popular National Park, also a world heritage and one of the best wildlife sanctuary site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder.
Serengeti is famous for its annual migration, this offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. The Park is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due to the abundance of prey species.
The park also supports many further species, including cheetahs, Thomson and grants gazelles, topis, elands, water bucks, hyenas, baboons, impalas, African wild dogs and giraffes. Over 500 bird species are recorded here.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drives in Serengeti National Park, later on return back to the campsite for breakfast. Check out of the camp and drive with packed lunch game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: You can visit Olduvai Gorge at an extra fee payable direct to the museum. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence,
but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa largest population of large mammals. The annual wildebeest and zebras migration passes through the Ngorongoro conservation, moving south into the area in December and moving north in June.
This movement changes seasonally with the rains, but the migration will traverse almost the entire plains in search of food. This has a healthy resident population of most species of wildlife, in particular the Ndutu Lake area to the west has strong cheetah and lion populations.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park
Early morning breakfast then descend to the Crater Floor with picnic lunch for game drives. Explore the crater and have lunch at the picnic site. Therafter continue with game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Tarangire National Park Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.
Tarangire National Park is a beautiful and special park in Northern Tanzania. It is famous for its high density of elephants exceeding Lake Manyara and Serengeti. The park displays a diverse number of wildlife namely: Pythons, lions and leopards climb trees lounging in the branches,
African buffalos, lesser and great kudus, cheetahs, fringe-eared Oryx, Maasai giraffes, spotted hyenas, common zebras, white-bearded wildebeests, warthogs, elands, olive baboons, bat-eared fox, impalas, common waterbucks, bushbucks, cokes hartebeests, gerenuks, and bohor reedbucks.
Over 550 bird species have been recorded here, making a sure pleaser for any bird lover. Baobab trees are most common here.
Day 8: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
Early morning breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for morning game drives. Thereafter have lunch and leave the Park viewing your last game while you drive back to Arusha arriving in the evening. You will be dropped either at your
hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your home bound flight depending on the arrangements where the safari ends.
