Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Old Moses Camp
- Distance/Time: 9 km hike (3–4 hours)
- Details: Depart Nairobi and drive north, crossing the equator near Nanyuki before reaching the Sirimon Gate. You’ll hike through the lush montane forest and bamboo zones to reach Old Moses Camp (3,300m). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Day 2: Old Moses to Shipton’s Camp
- Distance/Time: 14 km hike (6–8 hours)

Day 3: Acclimatization at Shipton’s Camp
- Distance/Time: 3–4 hours of light hiking

Details: Walk through the dense tropical rainforest to the Chogoria Park Gate, where you’ll take a vehicle transfer down to Chogoria town and head back to Nairobi.
