The Ol Donyo Sabuk (Mt. Kilimambogo) hike is a beginner-friendly, 13-kilometer round trip in Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. Located 85 km northeast of Nairobi, the 4 to 6-hour trek offers 650 m elevation gain, a gravesite from the McMillan family, and—on clear days—views of Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro.

- Getting There: From Nairobi, drive via the Thika Superhighway to Thika Town, then turn right at the Makutano junction onto Garissa Road. Follow the clear KWS signs. Public transport is also available from Ronald Ngala stage to Ol Donyo Sabuk town.
- Fees: Standard KWS Park entry fees apply (rates fluctuate depending on resident/non-resident status).
- What to Pack: Sturdy hiking boots, at least 2 liters of water, sunscreen, a hat, and a packed lunch or heavy snacks for the summit.
